At first the process of getting my new passport was worrying. Not having much computer experience and having to send photos. Hanel my consulant was so heplful, everything was explained so professionaly and in detail.I did have a problem when filling in a form about my parents.I wasn't sure of my father's date of birth and found I could not go forward. It did not help to write unknown. I did get the information eventually but wondered what I would have done if I hadn't found out.The service with DHL was fine but only because I could be at home when they called. Otherwise it all worked out well and pleased I now have a new British passport.

My Consultant Robyn is a true professional - whilst the process is not complex when one is based overseas renewing one's passport appears to be troublesome and very expensive. I would like to express my thanks to Gavin for guiding me through my UK passport renewal. I live permanently in Australia and started the renewal there. I was then fortunate to be able to come to Uk not long after as well as a side trip to Malaysia. So I had to hold on to my passport which had under 6 months to be renewed. I was able to do the passport renewal while in UK, but needed to observe certain protocols to ensure the new passport was sent to an address in UK which, ordinarily may have resulted in a complete new application or similar. Our excellent helper, Saretha, communicated at every stage so that we were fully informed on the progress of our applications. Cannot fault the service of U.K. Passports. I used them because I just wasn’t sure how easy or quick it would be to renew a passport direct from France. Was a bit dubious about using the site but needed my passport renewed. Paid the charged and it was worth every penny. I could remember the last time (about 10 years ago) when I applied to renew my passport, after submitting the application form and all the supporting documents. I waited for about 4 weeks and heard nothing. When I contacted the HM Office, I was told that my application was on hold because my specimen signature was outside the designated box. I was upset that nobody told me of such mistake. But this time, it is totally different. This time, I was constantly informed of the application status. It is a great improvement. I live in Florida. My 10 year old British passport was about to expire and I needed to renew it, but how? I've had this stress for months. If I send it by mail, what if it gets lost? I thought the best thing would be to go to London and stay for a week, but it's too expensive. I saw UK ABROAD on the internet but at first I thought it was fake and didn't believe it, but whenever I went online to do research UK ABROAD was always there. It took me a long time to believe it was a real website. They would pick up my passport from my address and once it was approved it would come back to my address. There could be no such luxury. I decided to give it a try, filled in the form, paid and they started the process the very next day. Dear Glenda started sending me emails explaining in great detail what I needed to do at every step. DHL collected my passport from my address free of charge. A month later it was delivered again free of charge. My canceled passport will also arrive separately.I would like to appeal to all British passport holders living outside the UK: your passport can be lost, your details can be changed, you may even have washed it in the machine by mistake. Don't worry, UK ABROAD will definitely solve your problem. They deserve every penny they get. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved.

Gavin was the agent who assisted me with my application. From the moment I made payment, I received an email straight away that U.K.Abroad would have an agent contact me, and that's exactly what happened with no time wasted! Every query I made by email to Gavin, he responded to me within a short period of time. I had a bit of a tricky situation where I had a name change, and he advised me on the best route (in terms of documents) to get my name changed on my renewed passport. He also triple-checked that all the documents I was sending were the correct documents on the list, so as not to waste time if they got rejected by the passport office in the UK. The fee included the DHL courier service from NZ to UK, and UK to NZ. DHL was super quick, and I've got to say, using the U.K.Abroad service was stress free, smooth and streamlined. It took just over a month to receive my new passport, considering I am based in NZ, and I could not have achieved it in record time if I had done it alone! My dad recommended this service to me, as he had used them to renew his passport this year as well, and as he described it, these guys are magic. And that is exactly true. I would like to thank the UK Passport staff, in particular Natasha,British Passport Consultant. Natasha's professionalism was evident by not only her quick response to any questions I had regarding renewal of my UK passport from Australia, but also fully explaining how the whole procedure would take place. My application for renewal was lodged online, on the 28th July and Natasha contacted my via email on the 29th July. All of the steps were explained in detail to me by her,I received my Passport delivered to my door in Sydney via a secure delivery within 20 working days. There was a slight delay caused by me having a photo taken with some shadows seen on the face. I would recommend that the photo be taken via the post office or professional photographer to eliminate any of these types of problems. All in all, I am very satisfied with the time it took to complete the process. It was so much easier and quicker than I thought it would be.UK Passports have this procedure nailed, and should be congratulated for the good work they do.

My fear in renewing my British passport was that the British Embassy in Washington DC was no longer processing these submissions. What to do? There weren't any difficulties or problems on my online application, all procedures were smooth.One suggestion is for DHL to deliver my old passport and new passport to me. So incredibly quick considering I live on the other side of the world to the UK. In fact I think that worked to my advantage as I got responses in my evening - some within an hour! Choosing to renew my passport through UK Passports was a smart decision. IThey assigned me a guide to help me through the process. My documents were checked one at a time in a logical manner and I always knew immediately whether I'd "Passed" that inspection point before moving on to the next. There's no doubt that without my UK Passports guide, I would have submitted my full application at once and my application woud have been rejected. As it was, thanks to my guide, all problems were resolved before my full application was submitted. I now happily have my new passport! My experience with U.K.Abroad was in connection with getting a first UK passport for myself from New Zealand at a fairly advanced age. I came to it cold so was a bit suspicious of the set-up but became more accepting when my agent, Elyse, rang me to persuade me not to throw in the towel. When I had contact with the courier D.H.L. in transferring my documents to U.K.P.O. I felt much more confident that this was a very professional operation. And so it turned out. I received my UK passport just over three weeks later. I consider that U.K.Abroad provides an effective and professional service and also that their fees for this are not excessive. An easy process with great assistance from Colin. I was worried that it was too easy and I might be getting scammed but I contacted my Travel Agent and she confirmed that she used this service regularly. Renewing a UK passport from abroad can be quite confusing. The UK Gov. notes on this are not very clear. UK.Abroad is not inexpensive but did give good guidance and the chance to pose extra questions if needed . At first I was dubious but ended pleased with the results. Everything seemed to work.

Painless way to get a new passport from outside the UK, although my renewal was fairly straightforward. I did have a time crunch though, as my passport was almost 10 years past the expiry date, after which (as I understand it) you need to do a whole new application. What people may also not factor in to costs is that passports are restricted documents, and it can be expensive sending them to the UK, even if you do the whole process yourself. Cost me fractionally more to go with UK abroad. You give them permission to act for you and they can check on your application from the UK, so that if there are any problems/hitches you can have help with those. The cost spread over 10 years (passport lifetime) isn't that much. If you send it yourself, it might be all ok, but if there is anything wrong, you could face a delay or not hear back. I couldn't afford that time-wise. Took about a month, end to end. From my point of view, great, no hassle & least stressful option.

I was nervous applying on line however, the whole process was simple. I sent my documents March 28 and received prompt updates. I was able to communicate any questions i had and recieved 24hr or less response. They had a courier pick up my passport from my home, April 2, 2024 sent me the labels so all i had to do was print and give to him.. Brannan my UK consultant constantly kept me updated, from start to finish the whole process was super easy and straight forward. Although will keep in mind for next time that courier fee from NZ to UK to return documents was part of fee, I didn't realise so ended up paying more via NZ Post, but glad that UK Passports refunded part of the courier fee as organised myself, but next time will ensure deal only with them and DHL to make it happen and YAY passport arrived back this side of Xmas, so expected it to be in the New Year, thanks Sarah from NZ :)

I was born in Australia to an English mother and Australian father. I don't have access to my fathers original birth certificate. So attaining an Australian passport wasn't an option. I found UK Abroad whilst googling information about possibly having a British passport instead. After paying the fee, I was assigned a constant named Robyn. She went above and beyond for me. Our entire correspondence was conducted in 43 emails. My original documents were picked up and shipped over to the UK. And somehow, within 27 days I'm holding my new passport, (a day later my original documents were returned) The attainment of a passport was something I never thought I'd be able to accomplish. Renewing my British passport online was extremely simple and effective, and with the added advantage of having someone from the passport office assigned in case there were any queries. And I received the renewed passport very quickly, not as long as had been projected. However, once I found ukabroad they walked me though the process and made it clear what documents I needed to provide. After paying UK Abroad to renew my passport, I was told I needed to submit the application myself and submit a lost passport claim. The phone number they gave me for the HM Passport office to submit the claim was wrong, and resulted in $200 of international call charges to find the correct number. When working with the official HM Passport office they had not heard of UK Abroad. I was told by my UK Abroad 'agent' that their service does not include submitting ones application (I needed to do this). I asked for a full refund via email and got no reply then called customer service and never heard back. Upon research of this organization, it seems they go by at least 3 different names. The responses to emails seemed they were a non-English speaker - IE some person in the Philippines? I subsequently reported fraud to my credit card company. It seems like the ample reviews are also fraudulent (fake). Do not use this company it is a fraudulent outfit.

My case officer did everything to help me apply for my British Passport. She gave me step-by-step instructions on what to do including what documents to collect and then send. Anytime HM Passport Office required me to email any more information, they would email my case officer. My case officer would then email me, and then my case officer required me to send HM Passport Officer the requested information via her. (My case offer would then forward the information to HM Passport Office.) It made life to easier for me when I applied. I finally received my passport and my returned documents today. My case officer was always friendly, polite and informative both when she emailed me and when I spoke to her on the phone a few times.The only thing I would like to warn others is to allow atleast 3 and a half to 4 months before travel to apply for the passport. It was after I had already sent in the documents (after being told by my case officer that the turnaround would take 6 to 8 weeks) that I heard on the British news that HM Passport Office were inundated with applications and it would take a lot longer than normal. The turnaround ended up being 10 weeks. I understand this is not my case mangers fault. Therefore I still give her 5 stars.

I helped to renew my wife's passport from Australia, we previously renewed via the UK consulate but was advised that this is now done in the UK. The complexity of filling out the correct forms and using couriers was daunting. The service from U.K. abroad was so great and simple with the agent keeping us informed every step of the way. The application process was streamlined and relatively easy (despite my misreading of directions, which was quickly corrected). My consultant was very patient and answered my emailed questions promptly. My only issue was the time it took to process my British passport. The HM British Passport office did report extreme processing times which did cause concern for my planned travel. I applied for and received an emergency travel passport which was also relatively easy to obtain. I travelled to the UK and received my passport 4 weeks after my return home. My advice - don't leave your application to last minute. I thought I would be okay with my application being submitted 8 weeks prior to departure. The entire processing took 18 weeks, which I understand not to be the norm. I would happily recommend UK abroad to assist you in your passport application.

First contacted him on 25/5 on 2/6 the documents were collected from me by a courier. On 17/6 was informed that documents had been received in UK and were being processed. I have lived in Australia for many years and have renewed a UK passport during that time. A process that back then was easy and seamless. I approached the task this time with a residual confidence that soon disappeared as I entered the on-line world of the UK Website.Initially it appeared to be sensible and manageable, but the process and the meaning contained in the fine print was less reassuring. Providing a digital photograph was a potential challenge and the chance that a minor error would cause you to have to begin again, and lose the application fee, a real possibility.I made the practical decision to use UK Abroad after finding their website. The consultant, Jade, was prompt and professional and the outcome brilliant. Despite concerns at the UK end with the quality of the digital photograph, taken by an accredited agency at this end. Jade walked me through to a successful completion of the process,, well within the expected time.Had I applied through UK Gov I would most certainly been out of pocket for additional fees despite using the correct mechanisms. UK Abroad was efficient and reassuring throughout and I calculate saved me money in the process.I recommend them without reservation.

I had been struggling for some months to renew my British Passport, largely because the on-line site provided by the UK government is unclear and confusing about what documents I needed to supply.I found UK Abroad on the internet and from the very start the whole process was made easy. An ex-pat friend had recently used UK Abroad to renew his passport and recommended them highly. Very helpful but I think you need to be upfront and advise customers, before they pay the fee, that you are unable to help them with the completion or remittance of their application - you can only check what they have done. I could have done with more help at this stage. Very happy to have finally received my passport.

I needed to renew my U.K passport that expired back in 1991. I thought I would never need it again, so I never renewed it. I found out in January that I needed a new passport for a trip at the end of the year.After a long search online, I found U.K.Abroad. After making contact, they sent me a list of all the documentation I needed to fill out. Once I filled out everything, I just emailed back to U.K. Abroad and they did the rest.The sent me a shipping label so I could send my final doc's to England.... A few days later, they sent me an email saying my new passport was on its way. It arrived less than a week later. It usually takes several weeks, so this was a very fast turnaround. I cannot say enough good things about U.K. Abroad. They did a marvelous job of getting all the paperwork in order and kept me appraised of every step.I would highly recommend U.K. Abroad if and when you need to renew your passport. Thank you for your help......

Thank God for UK Abroad!I was renewing my lapsed British passport and getting my 2 children and my wife's passport at the same time. In a year when pleasant surprised are too rare, I had the good fortune to come across UK Abroad when all my attempts to get any reaction out of the British embassy in Tokyo on passport renewal had failed. Time was running out. UK Abroad's Australia office immediately took on my case and my new passport was in hand just over 3 weeks later! The help I received from Darryl Wolpe deserves more stars than a mere five. When I applied to renew my British passport, I was so surprised to find that I had an intermediary, having not previously known of U.K. Abroad. In Darryl Wolpe, I had not just a professional, efficient intermediary, but an assistant who truly felt like a supporter and friend. I made it more difficult for him by a slight change of name, but he patiently helped me with advice on the documents I needed and by liaising with the Passports Office, writing the necessary letters on my behalf. He got me over the hurdles to success, without ever expressing the exasperation I thought he must surely feel. He also kept me so informed, letting me know what stages the process had reached. Initially I Tried to use IAM. However, their system was not 80 year old friendly. I therefore rang the UK Consulate in Melbourne, where I currently reside. They recommended i contact U.K. Abroad, which I did and established contact with Daryl. The whole process went very well. The only issue being the local Aus Post Photo did not fit the bill. So after a number of attempts I managed to produce and acceptable one myself.Thanks to Covid 19 and the Melbourne Office being Closed establishing contact with DHL to agree a delivery time, was a little difficult. Once contact had been established with their Customer Service delivery successfully took place very quickly.The whole process was very efficient and reasonable.
